01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Arrange the trimmed asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss gently to coat.
04 - Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until asparagus is just tender and slightly golden.
05 - Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
06 - Transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
