01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray.
02 - Pat chicken breasts dry. Season evenly on both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and thyme.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and olive oil. Once melted, add mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
04 - Arrange seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Distribute sautéed mushrooms and garlic evenly over the chicken.
05 - Pour chicken broth around the chicken breasts, avoiding pouring directly on top. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the mushrooms and chicken.
06 - Place dish uncovered in the oven. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F) and cheese is golden and bubbling.
07 - Remove from oven. Allow to rest 5 minutes before plating. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve hot.
